Though sun it shines my day is cloaked in grey

Though sun it shines my day is cloaked in grey,
my hopeful eyes distract see no sky bright,
my eyes unraised can’t find the clear of Day,
my eyes to Time to battle endless night.
I fight this war unarmed and overmatched,
the ruthless clock an undefeated foe,
so spiteful Time from Love is come detached,
in pain it drags us all its rivers flow.
But still ‘gainst Clock and Time a victory,
when finest day does bring me next to you,
from warring Time find place to hide with thee,
the Clock is helpless ‘gainst a love so true.
On timeless Love warm Sun does always peer,
sweet Love counts not the hour, day, or year.
