Too truthful daylight your absence reminds

Too truthful daylight your absence reminds,
the Sun’s rays give me not a place to hide,
In Morn your beauty not able to find,
and sorrows Daytime find a place reside.
In lying Night and Sleep, I find a friend,
whose twisting tongue in dream does comfort give,
your touch in Night in dream when Day finds end,
provide in sleep a chance my love to live.
To wake is Death at Night I truly rise,
thus walking, sleep, the Day and Night invert,
True Dawn is Dusk, the Morning light despised,
with open eyes am blind yet closed alert.
In sleep and dream a chance to be with you,
while Day is empty Night both full and true.
