On the first day of #JetsCamp, the team announced several roster moves. First off they waived punter Tom Hackett to make room on the roster for Ryan Fitpatrick. Hackett was set to battle 7th round draft choice Lac Edwards for the starting job. The two-time Ray Guy award winner was signed as an undrafted free agent and he averaged 47.9 yards per punt with 45.9% of his kicks landing inside the 20-yard line at Utah.
Muhammad Wilkerson, Devin Smith, Khiry Robinson, James Carpenter, Breno Giacomini and Kendall James were all placed on the Active/PUP list.
We will have a full injury report on Friday after practice. The good news is that everyone passed the conditioning test.
