We had them down and we took our foot off the gas.\u00a0 I\u2019m not giving credit to anybody.\u00a0 This is our fault.\u00a0 Nothing to do with the play calling. We took our foot off the gas pedal and we lost because of it.<\/p>\n
On the Jets secondary\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n
Their secondary isn\u2019t anything. It\u2019s our fault. It had nothing to do with anyone on their team.\u00a0 The guys in this locker room, we lost the game.<\/p>\n
On penalties\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n
It\u2019s our fault. You can ask any question you want to ask. The San Diego Chargers beat the San Diego Chargers.\u00a0 Nothing to do with the New York Jets.\u00a0 It\u2019s embarrassing, but it is what it is.\u00a0 We have more games to play. We\u2019ll get ready to play whoever we play Sunday (Kansas City). They won, I\u2019m not giving anyone credit. I\u2019m taking the credit away from us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Our take?\u00a0 When you lose a game, you don’t have to give credit to anybody.\u00a0 One thing worth mentioning though is how Rex Ryan handles such matters.\u00a0 Before a game it does seem that anything and anyone is fair game.\u00a0 After the game, his sound bytes consistently include praise for the opponent, win or lose.<\/p>\n
