{"id":9262,"date":"2011-09-20T16:06:35","date_gmt":"2011-09-20T20:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=9262"},"modified":"2011-09-20T16:12:48","modified_gmt":"2011-09-20T20:12:48","slug":"fantasy-football-pickups-week-three","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2011\/09\/20\/fantasy-football-pickups-week-three\/","title":{"rendered":"Fantasy Football Pickups (Week Three)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Fantasy Football Fans!<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> week of the season!\u00a0 Each week, I will list the best free agent pickups of the week every Tuesday.\u00a0\u00a0 I build this list by looking at the many leagues I am in which range in participation from 10-14 teams so I will try and have pickup for every level.\u00a0 \u00a0We had some success last week and if they are still available grab them quick; Tate, Henderson, Meachem, Burleson, F Davis, Fitzpatrick, Simpson, and Decker.\u00a0 Let\u2019s get to it:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Average Size Leagues<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cam Newton- Looks to be a      wide open pass happy offense, jump aboard.<\/li>\n<li>Rex Grossman-Pretty      shocking but you can do worse for a QB2.<\/li>\n<li>Dexter McCluster-With his      WR eligibility, he is a must have flex guy.<\/li>\n<li>Delone Carter-Indy will      struggle but he looked good filling in for the aging Addai.<\/li>\n<li>J Gaffney-He seems to be      the favorite target of Grossman on the outside.<\/li>\n<li>Demetrious Moore-A 5<sup>th<\/sup> round sleeper in Oakland, came up big in his opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Roy Helu-A good roster      stash if Shanahan wears out Hightower who has never had this workload.<\/li>\n<li>AJ Green-Dalton is not looking      like a rookie and with Simpson they make a nice tandem as they should be      trailing quite a bit.<\/li>\n<li>Deion Branch-If he is      still out there, and now with Hernandez out should equal more targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deep Leagues<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keiland Williams-Setup to      be the goal line back with the inevitable Best injury coming soon.<\/li>\n<li>Preston Parker-Looked to      be Josh Freeman\u2019s favorite target as Williams was triple covered all game      last week.<\/li>\n<li>Jason Avant-One injury      away from 10 targets a game.<\/li>\n<li>Leroy McClain-Should be      the favorite for goal line carries in KC.<\/li>\n<li>David Nelson-Got the game      winning TD in the now high flying Buffalo offense.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Follow me on <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/dvond\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a> and feel free to ask any and all fantasy football questions -dvond.<\/p>\n<p>Good Luck this week!<\/p>\n<p>Fantasy Mike<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Fantasy Football Fans!
