backer from the Patriots and topped it off with a trade for some cornerback depth.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll round it all up right here and now.<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE Marcelino McCrary-Ball to short-term IR:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Williams was <a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2025\/09\/23\/shoulder-lands-quincy-williams-on-ir-will-miss-at-least-4-wks\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>announced first<\/strong><\/span><\/a> through several outlets and it wasn&#8217;t long after that that we saw McCrary-Ball&#8217;s name appear.\u00a0 Both linebackers will miss at least four games which could sting for a unit that&#8217;s already allowing over 30 points per game.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jets poach Patriots LB Mark Robinson:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a sudden pressing need at linebacker, the Jets snag Mark Robinson from the Patriots practice squad.\u00a0 Robinson has spent time with the Steelers and Patriots, appearing in 41 games, four of which were starts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jets sign LB Ben Niemann to practice squad:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Familiar with Aaron Glenn from their time together in Detroit where he appeared in 17 games last season with four of them being starts.\u00a0 Niemann has also played for the Chiefs, Cardinals and Broncos.\u00a0 He logged a career high 70 tackles back in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trade for CB Jarvis Brownlee:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brownlee was drafted just two seasons ago by the Tennessee Titans out of Louisville.\u00a0 While he showed enough to start fourteen games as\u00a0 a rookie, he has struggled badly with penalties.\u00a0 He drew nine flags last season with three of them being for defensive pass interference.\u00a0 In three games this season he&#8217;s been flagged three more times, with one being of the DPI variety.<\/p>\n<p>One of Darren
