The game\u2019s Rookies of the Year are Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Braden Fiske (Defensive Rookie of the Year), Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year), and Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year). The inductees and rookies of the year will be honored at the annual induction ceremony at The Grand Hotel Golf Club &amp; Spa in Point Clear, Alabama on Sunday, May 4, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with the Hall of Fame festivities, the Senior Bowl is hosting its Fifth Annual Senior Bowl Charities Celebrity Golf Classic, which will be held on Monday, May 5, at Lakewood Golf Club. This exclusive event will pair over 20 foursomes with celebrities from across the football world, including the five current Senior Bowl Hall of Fame inductees and Rookies of the Year. Proceeds from the golf tournament will directly benefit the Senior Bowl\u2019s Mobile Baldwin Athletic Partnership, which provides needed resources, ranging from pants and jerseys to blocking sleds and video technology, for underfunded public high school football programs in the two-county area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to welcome each member of the 2025 Senior Bowl Hall of Fame back to the Mobile area, where their remarkable careers began,\u201d said Mobile Arts &amp; Sports Association President Scott Cooper. \u201cIt is truly an honor to celebrate the achievements of outstanding Senior Bowl alums year after year. Senior Bowl Class of 2013)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NFL:<\/strong> Selected with the 75<sup>th<\/sup> overall pick in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> round of the 2013 draft by the New Orleans Saints\u2026 has appeared in 135 games with 131 starts throughout his career\u2026 spent 9 years with the New Orleans Saints (2013-2021) and currently plays for the Miami Dolphins (2022-current)\u2026 Armstead was a 2 <sup>nd<\/sup> team All-Pro in 2018 and has been selected to the Pro Bowl 5 times throughout his career (2018-2020, 2022, 2023). <strong>NCAA: <\/strong>Played at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from 2009-2012\u2026 He was a 1<sup>st<\/sup> team All-SWAC selection 3 times (2010-2012)\u2026 Armstead was also a distinguished member of the track team while at Arkansas Pine Bluff where he competed as a shot putter, discus thrower and hammer thrower.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geno Atkins (Defensive Tackle &#8211; Senior Bowl Class of 2010)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NFL:<\/strong> Selected with the 120<sup>th<\/sup> overall pick in the 4<sup>th<\/sup> round of the 2010 draft by the Cincinnati Bengals\u2026 appeared in 161 games with 134 starts throughout his 11-year career\u2026 spent his entire career with the Cincinnati Bengals (2010-2020)\u2026 Atkins was voted 1 <sup>st<\/sup> team All-Pro twice (2012, 2015), 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All-Pro once (2011), an 8-time Pro Bowl selection (2011, 2012, 2014-2019) and was included on the 2010\u2019s NFL All-Decade Team\u2026 He finished his career with 75.5 sacks, posting 10 or more sacks in a season 3 times. <strong>NCAA: <\/strong>Played at the University of Georgia from 2006 to 2009\u2026 Atkins was 1<sup>st<\/sup> team All-SEC in 2007 and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All-SEC in 2009\u2026 He finished his career with 11 sacks, 120 tackles and 35 tackles for a loss\u2026 7 of his career sacks all occurred in the 2007 season\u2026 While at Georgia, Atkins was part of 2 teams that had 10 or more wins, including a win in the 2007 Sugar Bowl.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Jon Gruden (Head Coach &#8211; He made 39 consecutive start throughout his career&#8230; Mack was awarded the Morris Trophy in 2007 and 2008, an award given to the best offensive lineman in the conference and is voted on by opposing players&#8230; He compiled a 3.61 GPA as a legal studies major and was awarded the Draddy Trophy in 2008, considered by many as the \u201cAcademic Heisman\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Richard Sherman (Cornerback &#8211; Senior Bowl Class of 2011)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NFL:<\/strong> Selected with the 154<sup>th<\/sup> overall pick in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> round of the 2011 draft by the Seattle Seahawks\u2026 appeared in 144 games with 136 starts throughout his 11-year career\u2026 spent 7 years with the Seattle Seahawks (2011-2017), 3 years with the San Francisco 49ers (2018-2020) and 1 year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2021)\u2026 Sherman was voted 1 <sup>st<\/sup> team All-Pro 3 times (2012-2014), 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All-Pro twice (2015, 2019), a 5 time Pro Bowl selection (2013-2016, 2019), led the NFL in Interceptions (2013) and was included in the 2010\u2019s NFL All-Decade Team\u2026 During his time with the Seahawks, Sherman was a key part of the \u201cLegion of Boom\u201d defense, the secondary that led the NFL in pass defense in 2013-2014 and scoring defense from 2012-2015\u2026 Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVII\u2026 Sherman appeared in 3 Super Bowls throughout his career. <strong>NCAA:<\/strong> Played at Stanford University from 2006-2010\u2026 Began his career as a Wide Receiver and led the team in receiving as a freshman\u2026 After 3 seasons at Receiver, Sherman made the switch to Cornerback where he made 112 tackles and had 6 interceptions in his final two seasons \u2026 Sherman was a key piece on the 2010 team that finished with school record 12-1 finish that included a victory in the Orange Bowl.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2024 ROOKIE OF YEAR BIOS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Braden Fiske (Defensive Tackle &#8211; Senior Bowl Class of 2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NFL:<\/strong>\u00a0 Selected with the 39<sup>th<\/sup> overall pick in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round of the 2024 draft by the Los Angeles Rams\u2026 appeared in 17 games with 8 starts in 2024\u2026 through 17 games, Fiske had 8.5 sacks, 44 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries\u2026 Fiske was a key piece in replacing long time mainstay Aaron Darnold to retirement\u2026 the Los Angeles Rams advanced to the Divisional Round of the playoffs and were eventually defeated by the eventual Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. <strong>NCAA: <\/strong>Played at Western Michigan University (2019-2022) and the University of Florida State (2023). While at Western Michigan, Fiske played in 45 total games and started in 30\u2026 He was awarded 2<sup>nd<\/sup> team All-MAC in 2022 after posting 12 tackles for loss and 59 tackles\u2026 While at Florida State, Fiske was awarded 2 <sup>nd<\/sup> team All-ACC\u2026 He played in all 13 games and posted 9 tackles for loss, 6 sacks and 43 tackles\u2026 Florida State had a perfect regular season in 2023 winning all 13 of its games<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bo Nix (Quarterback &#8211; Senior Bowl Class of 2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NFL:<\/strong> Selected with the 12<sup>th<\/sup> overall pick in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> round of the 2024 draft by the Denver Broncos\u2026 appeared in 17 games with 17 starts in 2024\u2026 After 8 seasons of not making the playoffs, Nix lead the Denver Broncos to a 10 win season and a playoff berth in only his rookie season\u2026 he threw 29 touchdown passes for 3775 yards and completed 66.3% of his passes\u2026 Nix finished 3 <sup>rd<\/sup> in Rookie of the Year voting. <strong>NCAA: <\/strong>Played at Auburn University (2019-2021) and the University of Oregon (2022-2023)\u2026 Nix started 61 games throughout his career which is the most in NCAA history for a Quarterback\u2026 An immediate starter as a freshman at Auburn, Nix was voted SEC Freshman of the Year after leading Auburn to a 9-4 record which includes wins over Oregon and Alabama\u2026Nix finished the final 2 seasons of his career at Oregon where he posted an impressive record of 22-5\u2026 In 2023, Nix led the NCAA in pass completions, completion percentage and passing touchdowns\u2026 Nix finished 3 <sup>rd<\/sup> in the Heisman voting that season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ladd McConkey (Wide Receiver &#8211; Senior Bowl Class of 2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NFL:<\/strong> Selected with the 34<sup>th<\/sup> overall pick in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> round of the 2024 draft by the Los Angeles Chargers\u2026 appeared in 16 games with 14 starts in 2024\u2026 McConkey played a key role in the team\u2019s 11 win season and playoff appearance\u2026 leading all Charger receivers in receptions (82), targets (112) and receiving yards (1149) while also scoring 7 touchdowns\u2026 McConkey broke the franchise record for most receptions and yards by a rookie in a single season\u2026 He also broke the record for the most receiving yards by a rookie in a single postseason game with 197 yards. <strong>NCAA: <\/strong>Played for the University of Georgia from 2020-2023\u2026 McConkey played in 39 games throughout his career and finished with 119 catches, 1687 yards and 18 touchdowns\u2026 While at Georgia, McConkey won 2 National Championships (2021, 2022)\u2026 McConkey was also awarded the Wuerffel Trophy (2023), an award for a combination of exemplary community service and academic achievement. <strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Senior Bowl<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Reese\u2019s Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 75\u00a0years.\u00a0 More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year.
