The announcement was made by Jets\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas, most recently on the Seattle Seahawks\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 practice squad, is in his second stint with the Jets this season. He appeared in one NFL regular season game for Tennessee in 2005 on special teams. The former University of Texas wide receiver was originally drafted by Houston in the seventh round of the 2004 draft. He is a native of Clarksville, TN.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Adams, originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 12, went through training camp with the team before being waived Sept. 2.
