Ending the season with six straight defeats, especially scoring just 15 points over the last three weeks, is very deflating.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Giants<\/strong> must be very happy with how the playoff seeding worked out and their matchup this weekend.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Jets<\/strong> have the 13<sup>th<\/sup> pick in the upcoming NFL draft. After an initial review of the prospects likely to be on the board when they pick, I am hoping for <strong>Broderick Jones<\/strong>, an offensive tackle from <strong>Georgia<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of the Jets, they will be looking for a new offensive coordinator after parting ways with <strong><a class=\"jets-do-follow\" href=\"https:\/\/pro-football-history.com\/coach\/12752\/miles-austin-bio\">Mike LaFleur<\/a><\/strong> and they need a new wide receiver coach after <strong><a class=\"jets-do-follow\" href=\"https:\/\/pro-football-history.com\/coach\/12752\/miles-austin-bio\">Miles Austin<\/a><\/strong> left the team.<\/li>\n<li>I like <strong>Kansas City<\/strong> and<strong> Philadelphia<\/strong> to meet in the Super Bowl. Yeah, I know. Going with the two top seeds isn\u2019t very newsworthy, but neither is being wrong.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Patriots<\/strong> didn\u2019t make the playoffs. I feel warm inside.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jalen Hurts<\/strong> is the MVP.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dan Campbell<\/strong> is the coach of the year. <strong>Mike Tomlin<\/strong> and <strong>Nick Sirianni<\/strong> get an honorable mention.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sauce Gardner <\/strong>is the defensive rookie of the year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aaron Rodgers<\/strong> can retire now\u2026unless he wants to play for the Jets. If he wants to play for the Jets, he can stay another three years.<\/li>\n<li>I am fully prepared for <strong>Tom Brady<\/strong> to retire too<\/li>\n<li>How did the Jets miss on <strong>Brock Purdy<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Lions<\/strong> have the 6<sup>th<\/sup> and the 18<sup>th<\/sup> pick in the draft. They also have a boatload of cash to use to fix their defense. I know the Stafford trade won the Rams a Super Bowl, but I think that trade is going to go down as a win-win for each side when it\u2019s all over.<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019ve owned beach chairs that didn\u2019t fold up as effectively and efficiently as the <strong>Arizona Cardinals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Seahawks<\/strong> would be a better story if <strong>Pete Carroll<\/strong> weren\u2019t their coach.<\/li>\n<li>The Jets should be looking at free agents <strong>Dalton Shultz<\/strong>, TE Dallas and OL <strong>Matt Pryor<\/strong>, Indianapolis. Shultz is only 26 and will more than replace <strong>CJ Uzomah<\/strong>, who gave the team next to nothing this year. Pryor was a find for Indianapolis, starting games on the offensive line after being signed to provide depth. He is young and can play guard or tackle.<\/li>\n<li>So, we have a playoff game on a <strong>Monday<\/strong> I don\u2019t like it.<\/li>\n<li>Congratulations on a great career, <strong>JJ Watt<\/strong>.
