\n2.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Seattle Seahawks \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>the Seahawks defense made a hot Steeler offense look bad in the Super Bowl, and they will be better this year after adding Julian Peterson.\u00c2\u00a0 The rest of the NFC is still a step behind.
\n3.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Indianapolis \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>Losing Edgerrin James will hurt, but the Colts were 11th<\/sup> in total defense last year. If they are anywhere near that high again this year, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be home again for the playoffs. Are you really worried about them scoring points?
\n4.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Denver Broncos<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Denver was 4th<\/sup> in the league in points allowed and 4th<\/sup> in total offense.\u00c2\u00a0 Javon Walker\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s arrival and the running game make Denver a contender.
\n5.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Carolina Panthers<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Panthers are this year hot pick for the Super Bowl.\u00c2\u00a0 The missing piece was Keyshawn Johnson?
\n6.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Cincinnati Bengals<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Palmer appears to be fine.\u00c2\u00a0 The defense is opportunistic but are they ready to win in December?
\n7.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0New England<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Brady gives them the edge in the AFC East, but the Pats are not close to what they were a few years ago.\u00c2\u00a0 Add receiver to offensive line and secondary as a position of concern if Deion Branch is not on the field.
\n8.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Dallas Cowboys \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>While everyone focuses on Owens, the Cowboys will win with defense.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/strong>There <\/strong>may be enough offense with or without T.O. to contend for the NFC title.
\n9.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0New York Giants<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Giants focused on defense in the offseason, but the secondary is still a concern. It may not matter with the pass rush NY can bring.\u00c2\u00a0 The Giants can be a contender or playoff spectators.\u00c2\u00a0 It wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t surprise either way.
\n10.\u00c2\u00a0 Miami Dolphins \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>There is a lot to like on paper, but that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s paper.\u00c2\u00a0 Ronnie Brown and the OL are the keys.\u00c2\u00a0 If both improve, they can unseat the Pats.
\n11.\u00c2\u00a0 San Diego \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>The Chargers are the team everyone is forgetting about in the AFC.

\n15.\u00c2\u00a0 Baltimore Ravens <\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u201c McNair gives the Ravens a shot if they can resurrect their running game.
\n16.\u00c2\u00a0 Jacksonville<\/strong> Jaguars<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The defense gets the Jags to this spot. \u00c2\u00a0Offensively the Jags were bad last year, and now they have to try it without Jimmy Smith.
\n17.\u00c2\u00a0 Washington Redskins<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Yes, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s just the preseason, but how good can you feel about a team who failed to put a single point on the board with the first-team offense on the field?
\n18.\u00c2\u00a0 Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c There still isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t enough defense in KC.\u00c2\u00a0 Now there are concerns on offense with the losses on the line.
\n19.\u00c2\u00a0 Atlanta<\/strong> Falcons<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c New year, same question: Does Vick become a passer?\u00c2\u00a0 If so, they can be as good as anyone.
\n20.\u00c2\u00a0 Minnesota Vikings<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c There should be some holes to run through, as the Vikings line is legit.\u00c2\u00a0 How good can Brad Johnson play, and who does he throw to on the outside?
\n21.\u00c2\u00a0 St<\/strong>. Louis<\/strong> Rams<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Rams will play better than people predict, but they are still not a good team.
\n22.\u00c2\u00a0 Arizona<\/strong> Cardinals<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Firepower is not an issue.\u00c2\u00a0 Everything else still is.
\n23.\u00c2\u00a0 Houston Texans<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Texans are improved on defense.\u00c2\u00a0 They are headed for a lot of close losses this year as they rebuild.
\n24.\u00c2\u00a0 Green<\/strong> Bay<\/strong> Packers<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re bad, but not as bad as you might think.
\n25.\u00c2\u00a0 New York Jets<\/strong> – Call me crazy, but I think the Jets will find ways to win a few games this season, and they are rebuilding the right way at the same time.\u00c2\u00a0 I hope Curtis Martin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s career doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t end with this injury.\u00c2\u00a0
\n26.\u00c2\u00a0 Cleveland<\/strong> Browns<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Injuries on the OL have wrecked what might have been a halfway decent year for the Browns.

How much will Lions fans enjoy watching Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s careers?
