If they are anywhere near that high again this year, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be home again for the playoffs. Are you really worried about them scoring points?<br \/>\n4.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Denver Broncos<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Denver was 4<sup>th<\/sup> in the league in points allowed and 4<sup>th<\/sup> in total offense.\u00c2\u00a0 Javon Walker\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s arrival and the running game make Denver a contender.<br \/>\n5.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Carolina Panthers<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Panthers are this year hot pick for the Super Bowl.\u00c2\u00a0 The missing piece was Keyshawn Johnson?<br \/>\n<!--more-->6.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Cincinnati Bengals<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Palmer appears to be fine.\u00c2\u00a0 The defense is opportunistic but are they ready to win in December?<br \/>\n7.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<strong>New England<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Brady gives them the edge in the AFC East, but the Pats are not close to what they were a few years ago.\u00c2\u00a0 Add receiver to offensive line and secondary as a position of concern if Deion Branch is not on the field.<br \/>\n8.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Dallas Cowboys \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>While everyone focuses on Owens, the Cowboys will win with defense.<strong>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/strong>There<strong> <\/strong>may be enough offense with or without T.O. to contend for the NFC title.<br \/>\n9.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<strong>New York Giants<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Giants focused on defense in the offseason, but the secondary is still a concern. It may not matter with the pass rush NY can bring.\u00c2\u00a0 The Giants can be a contender or playoff spectators.\u00c2\u00a0 It wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t surprise either way.<br \/>\n10.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Miami Dolphins \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>There is a lot to like on paper, but that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s paper.\u00c2\u00a0 Ronnie Brown and the OL are the keys.\u00c2\u00a0 If both improve, they can unseat the Pats.<br \/>\n11.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>San Diego \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <\/strong>The Chargers are the team everyone is forgetting about in the AFC.<br \/>\n12.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Tampa Bay<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Simms will get better.\u00c2\u00a0 He doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have to do much for the Bucs to win.<br \/>\n13.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Chicago Bears<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the sooner the Bears realize Brian Griese is the best QB on the roster, the sooner Chicago will become a legit contender.<br \/>\n14.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Eagles are healthy and still have a lot of talent.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll make life even more difficult in the NFC East, but the running game keeps them from thinking big.<br \/>\n15.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Baltimore Ravens <\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u201c McNair gives the Ravens a shot if they can resurrect their running game.<br \/>\n16.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Jacksonville<\/strong> <strong>Jaguars<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The defense gets the Jags to this spot. \u00c2\u00a0Offensively the Jags were bad last year, and now they have to try it without Jimmy Smith.<br \/>\n17.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Washington Redskins<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Yes, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s just the preseason, but how good can you feel about a team who failed to put a single point on the board with the first-team offense on the field?<br \/>\n18.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c There still isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t enough defense in KC.\u00c2\u00a0 Now there are concerns on offense with the losses on the line.<br \/>\n19.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Atlanta<\/strong> <strong>Falcons<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c New year, same question: Does Vick become a passer?\u00c2\u00a0 If so, they can be as good as anyone.<br \/>\n20.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Minnesota Vikings<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c There should be some holes to run through, as the Vikings line is legit.\u00c2\u00a0 How good can Brad Johnson play, and who does he throw to on the outside?<br \/>\n21.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>St<\/strong>. <strong>Louis<\/strong> <strong>Rams<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Rams will play better than people predict, but they are still not a good team.<br \/>\n22.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Arizona<\/strong> <strong>Cardinals<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Firepower is not an issue.\u00c2\u00a0 Everything else still is.<br \/>\n23.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Houston Texans<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Texans are improved on defense.\u00c2\u00a0 They are headed for a lot of close losses this year as they rebuild.<br \/>\n24.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Green<\/strong> <strong>Bay<\/strong> <strong>Packers<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re bad, but not as bad as you might think.<br \/>\n25.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>New York Jets<\/strong> &#8211; Call me crazy, but I think the Jets will find ways to win a few games this season, and they are rebuilding the right way at the same time.\u00c2\u00a0 I hope Curtis Martin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s career doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t end with this injury.\u00c2\u00a0<br \/>\n26.\u00c2\u00a0 <strong>Cleveland<\/strong> <strong>Browns<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Injuries on the OL have wrecked what might have been a halfway decent year for the Browns.<br \/>\n27<strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 New<\/strong> <strong>Orleans<\/strong> <strong>Saints<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Brees was a nice pick up, and Bush will excite people.\u00c2\u00a0 Finally having real home games will be a plus.
