The league is much more fun with him playing.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Chiefs <\/strong>remind me of<strong> <em>The Freeze<\/em> <\/strong>in Atlanta. \u2018The Freeze\u2019 races people around the warning track at Braves games.\u00a0 He lets them get a huge head start before running them down and passing them easily.<\/li>\n<li>I am glad I don\u2019t work for<strong> Jim Irsay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Is your favorite team 5-4 or better? They would be in first place in the <strong>NFC South<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019m not sure there has ever been so much competition for <strong>NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year<\/strong>. Kenneth Walker has the edge at this point, but there are at least six viable candidates in the mix, including <strong>Garrett Wilson<\/strong> of the Jets. Wilson is a bit of a longshot at this point, but things can and will change over the second half of the season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ahmad \u201cSauce\u201d Gardner<\/strong> is the clear favorite at the halfway mark for <strong>Defensive Rookie of the Year<\/strong> and may be the best rookie of this class overall.<\/li>\n<li>There are few things in the world working as hard as <strong>Odell Beckham\u2019s<\/strong> phone right now.<\/li>\n<li>I am happy for <strong>Geno Smith<\/strong>. Some guys need a few years before they find their stride.\u00a0 Smith has definitely done that this season in Seattle.<\/li>\n<li>If the season ended today, the <strong>New York Jets<\/strong> would be the AFC\u2019s five seed in the playoffs.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s not too early to start calculating the magic number for the <strong>Minnesota Vikings<\/strong> to clinch the woeful NFC North.<\/li>\n<li>I had a nightmare where <strong>Justin Fields<\/strong> figured things out and turned into the 2010 version of <strong>Michael Vick<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Buccaneers<\/strong> are 4-5 but they would still be the NFC\u2019s fourth seed in the playoffs because they are on top in the NFC South. I think <strong>Rob Gronkowski<\/strong> just started stretching out.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>New York Jets<\/strong> are going to be a very good bad-weather team, and I am here for it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The eight African American Indianapolis Colts coaches are probably very excited about Jeff Saturday coming in from ESPN to take over.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am hoping that the injury to Josh Allen\u2019s elbow is nothing major.
