{"id":6093,"date":"2010-10-31T18:24:44","date_gmt":"2010-10-31T22:24:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=6093"},"modified":"2019-11-28T07:28:37","modified_gmt":"2019-11-28T11:28:37","slug":"packers-top-jets-9-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2010\/10\/31\/packers-top-jets-9-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Packers Top Jets 9 &#8211; 0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The JetNation Report Card will be here soon and the offensive grades won&#8217;t be good.\u00a0 Here are some thoughts after the 9 &#8211; 0 loss to the Green Bay Packers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are the Jets a running team?\u00a0 Or are they a passing team?\u00a0 Rex seems to think that they are a ground and pound team.\u00a0 Yet the run \\ pass balance today was anything but balanced.\u00a0\u00a0 21 running plays, 38 passing attempts? The game was within one score until very late in the 4th quarter, you would think a ground and pound team would try to impose their will on the ground a little more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>When the Jets watch the film there will be many mistakes they can work on correcting.\u00a0 The drops by Jerricho Cotchery in the 4th quarter were very un-Jerricho Cotchery like.\u00a0 Two plays jump out as huge errors by Mark Sanchez.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>The first was when Mark didn&#8217;t see a wide open Braylon Edwards.\u00a0 The Jets were on the 10 yard line and Sanchez could have sent the ball to Bralyon via Fed Ex for a touchdown.\u00a0 He never saw him.<\/li>\n<li>Under throwing the ball to Santonio Holmes as he streaked across the field.\u00a0 Holmes could have taken that one in for a touchdown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Does <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.jetnation.com\/\">Rex Ryan need a new  advisor<\/a> telling him when to challenge a play?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Jets could wake up tomorrow in 2nd place.\u00a0 A dose of reality could be what is needed.\u00a0 They are off to a good start at 5 and 2 but there is plenty of work to be done if the Jets want to make this a season for the ages.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of Jets fans are discussing the game in the <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.jetnation.com\/\">New York Jets football forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The JetNation Report Card will be here soon and the offensive grades won&#8217;t be good.\u00a0 Here are some thoughts after the 9 &#8211; 0 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
