Not just fines, not country club jail for thirty days, not community service\u2026real time at a real jail.<\/li>\n<li>Ok, fine. I was wrong on the <strong>Giants<\/strong>.\u00a0 I still don\u2019t think they are an elite team, but 4-1 is 4-1.\u00a0 Hats off, G-Men.<\/li>\n<li>So, <strong>Matt Rhule<\/strong> was the problem in Carolina? OK, I\u2019m looking forward to that juggernaut of a roster ripping off a nice win streak since they addressed the issue holding them back.<\/li>\n<li>Where was this version of <strong>Geno Smith<\/strong> when he was with the Jets?<\/li>\n<li>The rumors of the death of the <strong>Cowboy\u2019s<\/strong> season have been greatly exaggerated.<\/li>\n<li>Now that\u2019s how Monday night games should be. Thanks, KC and Las Vegas.<\/li>\n<li>I am rooting for <strong>Sam Darnold<\/strong>. Who\u2019s with me?<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Not sure anything can stop the collision between KC and Buffalo in the AFC Championship game.<\/li>\n<li>Not sure if there\u2019s ever been a more disrespected 5-0 team than this year\u2019s version of the <strong>Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong>. Please Carolina, trade him to anybody but Buffalo.<\/li>\n<li>I am enjoying not having a <strong>fantasy football<\/strong> team for the first year in quite a while.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s official\u2026I can\u2019t give up the 9:30 a.m. start time for football on Sunday. \u00a0More, please.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Heroes in Green<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what I\u2019m talking about.\u00a0 It was just the kind of game the old Jets would find a way to drop.\u00a0 Not the 2022 Jets.\u00a0 Nope.\u00a0 The Dolphins were down, and we kicked them just like we needed to.\u00a0 Gang Green was 5-6 in the red zone and didn\u2019t turn the ball over.\u00a0 A +2 turnover margin will win a lot of games in this league.\u00a0 Zach was efficient and Breece Hall was in beast mode all day long.<\/p>\n<p>Next week\u2019s game is the Jet\u2019s toughest of the young season.\u00a0 Green Bay will be ready after dropping a very winnable game to the Giants in London.\u00a0 Green Bay doesn\u2019t usually play poorly in back-to-back weeks.\u00a0 It will take the best game the Jets have played all year to leave Wisconsin with a win.\u00a0\u00a0 The good news is that the Jets confidence is high, and the cross-town Giants put a blueprint on film for the Jets to emulate.\u00a0 The Giants found soft spots in the Green Bay run defense and a less talented receiving core was effective against the Green Bay secondary.\u00a0 The Jets receivers are more talented by far than the group filling in for the Giants last week.\u00a0 The Jets secondary can cover this group of Green Bay receivers.\u00a0 The Jets can get pressure on Rodgers.\u00a0 My concern is the Green Bay running game.\u00a0 When the Packers are down, they go back to basics.\u00a0 Green Bay ran for 203 yards in week two after dropping their opener.\u00a0 If the Jets are hyper focused on Rodgers, Aaron Jones will hurt them.\u00a0 If the Jets can stop the run, they will be in the game with a chance to win it late.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Week Six Thoughts\u2026 Brett Favre and the miserable excuses for human beings with which he collaborated to steal money from poor people need to do real time.
