{"id":60222,"date":"2022-08-29T00:55:42","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T04:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=60222"},"modified":"2022-08-29T00:55:42","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T04:55:42","slug":"mims-shines-in-jets-pre-season-finale-in-another-streveler-led-comeback","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2022\/08\/29\/mims-shines-in-jets-pre-season-finale-in-another-streveler-led-comeback\/","title":{"rendered":"Mims Shines in Jets Pre-Season Finale in Another Streveler-led Comeback"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In their third and final pre-season game, it was more of the same for the New York Jets.\u00a0 The starting offense couldn&#8217;t find the end zone but did show some signs of life this time around.\u00a0 \u00a0Starting QB Joe Flacco had the offense humming on their first drive before the Jets turned it over on a Michael Carter fumble.\u00a0 Flacco would later throw a pick-six before exiting.<\/p>\n<p>On came Mike White who had his best game of the pre-season (13-17 for 170 yds and 2 TD&#8217;s) before Chris Streveler worked his magic in leading Gang Green to another win on the team&#8217;s final drive.\u00a0 And just as he did in the team&#8217;s first pre-season win, he hit rookie receiver Calvin Jackson for the game winner.<\/p>\n<p>Of more importance to the Jets however was the fact that wide receiver Denzel Mims may have boosted his trade stock just a bit with a big night.\u00a0 The third-year receiver hauled in seven balls for 102 yards and a 29-yard TD.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Heck of performance from Denzel Mims in what may be his final snaps as a member of the Jets.
