{"id":59570,"date":"2022-06-16T17:50:39","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T21:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=59570"},"modified":"2022-06-16T17:50:39","modified_gmt":"2022-06-16T21:50:39","slug":"forgotten-man-on-defense-jets-hope-brcye-huff-starts-turning-wins-in-to-sacks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2022\/06\/16\/forgotten-man-on-defense-jets-hope-brcye-huff-starts-turning-wins-in-to-sacks\/","title":{"rendered":"Forgotten man on Defense, Jets Hope Brcye Huff Starts Turning Wins in to Sacks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having used the NFL draft to grab a couple of pass rushers in Jermaine Johnson and Michael Clemons, the Jets hope that the pair can combine with a healthy Carl Lawson to complete a formidable trio.\u00a0 But forgotten in the mix it seems, would be third-year edge rusher Bryce Huff.\u00a0 A talented player who is also a bit of an enigma.<\/p>\n<p>If\u00a0 you&#8217;ve followed the Jets closely over the past couple of years, you&#8217;re aware of some of the hype surrounding Huff.\u00a0 An undrafted free agent out of Memphis, there were those who touted his addition as a potential steal.\u00a0 A &#8220;draftable player&#8221; with positive traits who slipped through the cracks.<\/p>\n<p>After picking up just two sacks as a rookie, there was still a fair bit of excitement surrounding Huff.\u00a0 The box scores may not have shown it, but on film you could see him beating opposing offensive linemen with more consistency than you may have expected.\u00a0 Even still, the sacks weren&#8217;t coming.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Good stuff from Bryce Huff (47) here.
