Good as a runner and has value as a return man.  Good guy to bring in for a look. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vTMO5ETEkU\">pic.twitter.com\/vTMO5ETEkU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Glenn Naughton (@JNRadio_Glenn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JNRadio_Glenn\/status\/1520623697119387648?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 1, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p><strong>WR Irvin Charles, Penn State:\u00a0<\/strong>When we saw this name we thought we&#8217;d dropped the ball.\u00a0 Having watched tons of Penn State football this draft season, this name didn&#8217;t sound familiar at all.\u00a0 Turns out there&#8217;s a reason for that.\u00a0 Per sports-reference, Charles didn&#8217;t catch a single pass for Penn State from 2015-2017 and was solely a special teams player.\u00a0 The 6&#8242; 4&#8221; New Jersey product was a part of Penn State&#8217;s 2015 recruiting class before being dismissed in 2017 and playing with Indiana University of Pennsylvania.\u00a0 In 2021, Charles picked up 39 receptions for 792 yards and 12 touchdowns for IUP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LB D.Q. Thomas, Middle Tennessee State:\u00a0<\/strong>Thomas played five seasons at MTSU and put up a career high 88 tackles in the middle of their defense last season.\u00a0 We&#8217;d expect more linebackers to be brought in before all is said and done but this is one spot where a player like Thomas has to like his chances given the Jets lack of depth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CB Alan George, Vanderbilt:\u00a0<\/strong>A fifth-year senior, the 6&#8242; 1&#8221; George appeared in 45 collegiate contests (26 starts) and amassed 142 tackles, 19 passes defended and 2 interceptions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WR Keshunn Abram, Kent State:\u00a0<\/strong>The 6&#8242; 2&#8221; Abram had himself a solid senior season at Kent State where he posted 699 yards on 47 receptions for a 14.9 YPC average.\u00a0 Abram also impressed at his pro day where he ran a 4.42 40.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jets UDFA WR Keshunn Abram had the only TD of the day for Kent State vs Iowa and it was a beauty. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4JWuhUKauh\">pic.twitter.com\/4JWuhUKauh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Glenn Naughton (@JNRadio_Glenn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JNRadio_Glenn\/status\/1520637824780759040?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 1, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p><strong>DT Savion Williams, Florida A&amp;M:\u00a0<\/strong>Here&#8217;s how Emory Hunt of CBS sports describes Williams in his annual draft guide; &#8220;Showed he can rush over any OL: Guard, Center &amp; Tackle and play all techniques up front.
