Tier 3 individuals were tested weekly. Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 follow the joint NFL-NFLPA Treatment Protocol. They are immediately isolated, not permitted access club facilities, or have direct contact with players or personnel. Club medical staff are in regular communication with individuals who test positive to monitor symptoms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitoring Testing\u00a0results for October 11 \u2013 October 17:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>38,880 tests were administered to a total of 7,799 players and team personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>15,167 tests were administered to 2,459 players; 23,713 tests were administered to 5,340 personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>There were\u00a0<strong>eight<\/strong>\u00a0new confirmed positive tests among players and\u00a0<strong>11<\/strong>\u00a0new confirmed positives among other personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Total test results for the entire Monitoring Testing period to-date,\u00a0Aug 1 \u2013 Oct 17:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During Monitoring Testing from Aug 1 \u2013 Oct 17,\u00a0<strong>47<\/strong>\u00a0players and\u00a0<strong>71<\/strong>\u00a0other personnel were confirmed positive cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>More than\u00a0<strong>450,000<\/strong>\u00a0tests\u00a0were administered to players and personnel during the\u00a0Aug 1 \u2013 Oct 17 period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>###<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Football League and NFL Players Association today announced the COVID-19 monitoring testing results for October 11 \u2013 October 17.
