After a third straight loss to start the 2020 season, head coach Adam Gase was reported to be on the hot seat. That is until Thursday morning when NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport released an article saying that Gase\u2019s job may not be in question, as many had been led to believe. Denver is traveling to the east coast on a short week, while having 11 total players on Injured Reserve. Brett Rypien will start for the Broncos in place of Drew Lock at quarterback. Meanwhile, for the Jets, Joe Flacco will be active for the first time this season, and will serve as backup to Sam Darnold. Rookie Mekhi Becton comes into this game as questionable, and Gase said he could be used as an \u201cemergency option\u201d. Last week, the Jets were supposed to use center Connor McGovern as an emergency option, but he ended up playing all 64 offensive snaps.
