This past season, Roberts was one of eight different players who started at cornerback and he also played some safety when Jamal Adams missed action in Weeks 14-15. In addition to logging 713 defensive snaps, Roberts also participated in 143 plays on special teams and finished with 3 stops.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"nfl-c-body-part nfl-c-body-part--text\">\n<blockquote><p>A seventh-round pick of the Patriots in the 2015 NFL Draft, Roberts was waived and the 6&#8217;0&#8243;, 182-pounder was claimed by New York&#8217;s AFC representative on September 4, 2016.
