{"id":49035,"date":"2020-02-13T23:21:35","date_gmt":"2020-02-14T03:21:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=49035"},"modified":"2020-02-14T00:31:01","modified_gmt":"2020-02-14T04:31:01","slug":"jets-sign-s-anthony-cioffi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2020\/02\/13\/jets-sign-s-anthony-cioffi\/","title":{"rendered":"Jets Sign S Anthony Cioffi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/news\/jets-sign-s-anthony-cioffi\">Jets announced<\/a><\/strong> that they have signed ex-Raider UDFA and ex-Rutgers safety Anthony Cioffi.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nfl-c-body-part nfl-c-body-part--text\">\n<blockquote><p>The Jets have signed free agent safety Anthony Cioffi, a New Jersey resident who comes to the Green &amp; White by way of the CFL.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"nfl-c-body-part nfl-c-body-part--text\">\n<p>Cioffi spent the previous two seasons with Ottawa in the Canadian Football League. As a linebacker and defensive back with the Redblacks, he totaled 97 defensive tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, a fumble-recovery touchdown in 2018, and four sacks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"nfl-c-body-part nfl-c-body-part--text\">\n<blockquote><p>Cioffi, who grew up in Springfield, NJ, originally signed with Oakland as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers, where he was a four-year starter and a teammate of current Jets CB Bless Austin.
