{"id":4638,"date":"2010-08-01T22:01:05","date_gmt":"2010-08-01T22:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=4638"},"modified":"2019-11-28T07:44:54","modified_gmt":"2019-11-28T11:44:54","slug":"training-camp-is-here-revis-is-not","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2010\/08\/01\/training-camp-is-here-revis-is-not\/","title":{"rendered":"Training Camp Is Here, Revis Is Not"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well Jets fans, the 5:30pm check-in time has passed which means that training camp is here.\u00a0 The first practice is on Monday and here is the entire <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/schedule\/\/training-camp-schedule.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">training camp schedule<\/a> if you are thinking of heading out to camp.<\/p>\n<p>There is no shortage of news as the Jets prepare for their first practice.\u00a0 The bad news is that Darrelle Revis is holding out.\u00a0 Rich Cimini has more info on <a href=\"http:\/\/sports.espn.go.com\/new-york\/nfl\/news\/story?id=5428018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ESPN NY<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Revis, unhappy with his contract, skipped the mandatory team meeting  at 5:30 p.m. ET. Players reported Sunday to training camp in Cortland.  Revis did not participate in the morning conditioning run at the team&#8217;s  facility in Florham Park, N.J. &#8212; a strong indication that he would be a  no-show.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told ESPNNewYork.com that Revis is committed to his position and is willing to sit out indefinitely.<\/p>\n<p>Revis will be fined $16,000 a day.
