{"id":46214,"date":"2019-10-05T16:27:47","date_gmt":"2019-10-05T20:27:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=46214"},"modified":"2019-10-05T16:27:47","modified_gmt":"2019-10-05T20:27:47","slug":"jets-set-to-get-first-look-at-douglas-duo-together-vs-eagles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2019\/10\/05\/jets-set-to-get-first-look-at-douglas-duo-together-vs-eagles\/","title":{"rendered":"Jets set to get First Look at Douglas duo Together vs Eagles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jets GM Joe Douglas didn&#8217;t have much time to make a splash this offseason after taking over for former general manager Mike Maccagnan after the first few waves of free agency and the NFL draft had already concluded.&nbsp; Even still, that didn&#8217;t stop him from going out and making a pair of additions along the offensive line, an area in which he&#8217;s expected to excel.<\/p>\n<p>With only serviceable journeyman Jonotthan Harrison at center, Douglas opened up his (or Chris Johnson&#8217;s) wallet to sign former All-Pro Ryan Kalil to a one-year $8.4 million deal.&nbsp; To address the team&#8217;s lack of depth, he sent a late-round draft pick to the Baltimore Ravens for OG\/OT Alex Lewis.&nbsp;&nbsp;Had the Jets not made the Ravens an offer, Lewis was expected to be released.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Per PFF, Alex Lewis graded out at 49.3 at left guard last season.
