Albert McClellan was signed to take his roster spot, capping off a crazy few days. McClellan originally made the 53 man roster and then was waived with a few others a day later to make room for the waiver claims the Jets were awarded.<\/p>\n<p>The team also formally announced that Josh Adams and Ian Bunting have been add to their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2019\/09\/02\/jets-announce-practice-squad-valentine-holmes-added\/\">practice squad<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We&#39;ve signed LB Albert McClellan and placed OL Brent Qvale on IR. <\/p>\n<p>RB Josh Adams and TE Ian Bunting have signed to the practice squad.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; New York Jets (@nyjets) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nyjets\/status\/1168611613949251585?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 2, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Looking ahead to the home opener vs the Buffalo Bills, Adam Gase had an encouraging update for both Trumaine Johnson and Robby Anderson.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>As far as just kind of going into this week, really, the two guys that you saw a little bit of the last time we practiced between Robby (Anderson) and Trumaine (Johnson), right now, everything is looking like we&#8217;re going to be heading in this week of practice (with) those guys out there, kind of seeing where we&#8217;re at.
