{"id":4498,"date":"2010-07-26T07:43:12","date_gmt":"2010-07-26T11:43:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=4498"},"modified":"2019-11-27T06:35:20","modified_gmt":"2019-11-27T10:35:20","slug":"new-york-jets-news-notes-726","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2010\/07\/26\/new-york-jets-news-notes-726\/","title":{"rendered":"New York Jets News &amp; Notes 7\/26"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/examiner\/x-779-New-York-Jets-Examiner~y2010m7d26-New-York-Jets-news-and-notes?cid=publish_facebook%3A779\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">By Tyson Rauch &#8211; Examiner.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1) Douglas signs with the Dolphins-<\/strong> Former Jets  defensive end Marques Douglas has signed with the Miami Dolphins.\u00a0  Douglas, who had a very solid 2009 campaign with Gang Green, was rumored  to be on the Jets radar as a training camp signing.\u00a0 This move  surprises me a little as Douglas was a very consistent player,  especially against the run.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Mangold will not hold out of training camp-<\/strong> In an interview on the NFL Network, New York Jets All-Pro center Nick  Mangold stated that he will not be holding out of training camp.\u00a0  Mangold, who is in the last year of his rookie deal, stated the  following:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;It&#8217;s just disappointing now where we&#8217;re at, but  it&#8217;s one of those things you go through. I&#8217;m a professional. I&#8217;ve done  everything the right way and I&#8217;m going to continue to do that (and) be  there for my teammates and coaches.
