Darrelle Revis just seems to be one of the players that gets the balance.\u00a0 He obviously has the right to work towards securing his financial future and get a new contract.\u00a0 With his play on the field he has more than earned that.\u00a0 Unfortunately it is common that these matters get handled in public.<\/p>\n

Once again though Revis proved that he is a shut down corner.\u00a0 Last week he stopped attending<\/a> the OTA workouts.\u00a0 He was back with the team today and basically shut down any talk of a possible training camp holdout.<\/p>\n

Good job by Camp Revis and the Jets as well for working together and handling things quietly.\u00a0 Even though a new contract hasn’t been reached yet, it is nice to see that there is a level of trust there.\u00a0 As the Jets prepare for what many fans hope will be a Championship season, that trust between the players and front office could prove to be very important.<\/p>\n
