Those moves reinforced what we have learned along the way as sports fans.\u00a0 We root for the uniform.\u00a0 Free agency in sports has brought with it so much transition that rooting for the uniform is now the norm.<\/p>\n

Adam_Schefter Jason Taylor’s deal is two years, $13 million. But the real number is one year up to $3.75 million. Taylor is a Jet.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you can sign a guy that once said about Jets fans:\u00a0 “Giants fans are a different type of people, just put it that way. There’s a little more class on the Giants’ side and some Jets fans take the ‘cl’ out of class.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Does time heal all wounds?\u00a0 Will Jason Taylor be embraced by Jets fans?\u00a0 It is possible and the reasons why have everything to do with sacking the quarterback.\u00a0 The Jets had the top ranked defense last season, but applying pressure to the quarterback was an area in which they needed to improve.<\/p>\n

Taylor has 127.5 career sacks.\u00a0 He is coming off a 2009 season in which he sacked the quarterback 7 times.\u00a0 He has 6 seasons in which he recorded double digit sacks.\u00a0 If age catches up to him this season, he turns 36 in December, he will hear it from Jets Nation.\u00a0 Winning cures a lot of ills and that is what Rex Ryan and company are planning on accomplishing this season.<\/p>\n
