On Thursday the Jets and Skins will play a preseason game but the tempers seemed to flare up today. Coming off his strong showing in the preseason opener <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2018\/08\/12\/it-sure-looks-like-jets-will-have-a-new-starting-qb-next-game\/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&amp;utm_medium=site%20buttons&amp;utm_campaign=site%20buttons\">Brian Costello expects Sam Darnold to start<\/a><\/strong> preseason game # 2.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>During a joint practice with the Redskins, the rookie quarterback took more reps overall and more with the starting offense than both Josh McCown or Teddy Bridgewater.
