I&#39;m also told <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Jets?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Jets<\/a> have expressed interest all week, no visit currently scheduled w\/ them now, per source. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wrygYOYPJt\">https:\/\/t.co\/wrygYOYPJt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; JosinaAnderson (@JosinaAnderson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JosinaAnderson\/status\/1022811093515816960?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 27, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Back in May, JetNation.com compiled a list of <a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2018\/05\/08\/new-york-jets-three-remaining-free-agents-who-could-still-help-gang-green\/\"><strong>three remaining free agents<\/strong><\/a> who could still help Gang Green and that list was topped by Breeland who has had an odd off-season.\u00a0 As one of the better cornerbacks on the free agent market, Breeland quickly singed a deal with the Carolina Panthers that was nullified when he failed a physical due to a foot infection.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, Breeland has visited with several teams but has come away without a deal.\u00a0 According to Anderson, the Jets are interested, but have yet to schedule a visit.<\/p>\n<p>Breeland is a 26 year-old corner whose presence could legitimately give the Jets an upper-echelon group that would easily be the best secondary the team has had under head coach Todd Bowles.<\/p>\n<p>Definitely a story worth keeping an eye on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In what could be a case of &#8220;better late than never&#8221;, the New York Jets are reportedly showing some interest in free agent cornerback Bashaud Breeland according to Josina Anderson.
