{"id":35142,"date":"2016-12-28T13:45:25","date_gmt":"2016-12-28T17:45:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=35142"},"modified":"2016-12-28T14:16:23","modified_gmt":"2016-12-28T18:16:23","slug":"report-jets-bowles-to-return-in-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2016\/12\/28\/report-jets-bowles-to-return-in-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Jets&#8217; Bowles to Return in 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Glenn Naughton<\/p>\n<p>Like it or not Jets fans, it appears that head coach Todd Bowles, the man in charge of what has been a historically bad performance from a team that has been historically bad, will in fact return in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>If <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/sports\/football\/jets\/todd-bowles-chance-jets-owner-source-article-1.2926680\"><strong>this report<\/strong> <\/a>from Gary Myers at the New York Daily News is true, Woody Johnson hasn&#8217;t seen enough bad football out of the Jets this season to prompt him to make a move.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Jets coach Todd Bowles is not about to be thrown to the curb by Woody Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>Bowles was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/sports\/football\/nfl-coaches-fired-article-1.2912037\">considered to be in danger of getting fired<\/a> with the Jets at 4-11 and not even competitive in their last three losses, but a well-placed Jets source told the Daily News on Wednesday, \u201cI don\u2019t anticipate changes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GM Mike Maccagnan, despite still not being able to find the Jets a long-term answer at QB, is also expected back for his third season.
