Todd Bowles was asked if Fitzpatrick would start on Sunday.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I don\u2019t know. I have to see him run around a little bit on Wednesday and Thursday first.<\/p>\n<p>He has a sprained knee. He\u2019s probably day-to-day. We\u2019ll know more as the week progresses.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bowles confirmed that if Fitz can&#8217;t go Bryce Petty would get the start.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If he misses a significant amount of time, then Bryce will play. He\u2019ll have to practice some on Friday, at least, and have him get an understanding of the game plan and we\u2019ll make a decision going forward.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One consideration when it comes to Bryce Petty is it would be much less pressure if he received his first start at home (1pm game) against the Rams.
