Incredibly frustrating game to lose because the Jets dominated a good CIN team\u00a0in the trenches on both sides of the ball. \u00a0Fantastic atmosphere generated by the\u00a0crowd.<\/p>\n
– The worst game ever for Nick Folk since he’s been here. \u00a0Missing a 22 yard FG\u00a0and a PAT is inexcusable.<\/p>\n
– Lachlan Edwards was terrific and the coverage units were air tight particuarly\u00a0against a big time returner like Adam Jones.<\/p>\n
– Jalin Marshall was solid in his punt returns and had a spectacular kick return that\u00a0set up a TD.<\/p>\n
– Awful production in the red zone, you can’t go 2 for 5 and expect to win. \u00a0Especially\u00a0when Folk leaves 4 easy points on the field.<\/p>\n
– OLine was excellent across the board in both run blocking and pass protection. \u00a0They really\u00a0took Geno Atkins out of the game.<\/p>\n
– CIN did a good job taking away Brandon Marshall & Eric Decker. \u00a0But you have to be encouraged\u00a0by the production of our secondary options. \u00a0Quincy Enunwa, Matt Forte and Bilal Powell were\u00a0excellent and basically carried the offense.<\/p>\n
– Speaking of Forte you saw today exactly what he brings to an offense. \u00a0Smooth running and hands\u00a0out of the backfield like a WR.<\/p>\n
– Tremendous improvement across the board in Enunwa’s game. \u00a0Many of the catches he made today he\u00a0wouldn’t have last year.<\/p>\n
– Sub-par games across the board for Ryan Fitzpatrick, Marshall and Decker. \u00a0Too many missed connections\u00a0and Marshall’s drop on the final drive of the game was a crusher.<\/p>\n
– Unbelievable game by the DLine, shades of the “Sack Exchange” with SEVEN sacks. \u00a0Particularly beastly\u00a0were Leonard Williams and Steve McLendon who both had “Canton” games.<\/p>\n
– Awful job by the secondary today, other than the INT by Marcus Williams they contributed to the loss\u00a0as much as Folk. \u00a0When your DLine generates seven sacks you can’t bust coverages and give up big plays.\u00a0AJ Green is a premier WR but you can’t get beat by Lafell and Uzomah, that’s inexcusable. \u00a0Particularly\u00a0bad were Marcus Gilchrist and Williams.<\/p>\n
– The defensive staff needed to adjust to CIN “dink & dunk” WR screen game sooner than they did. \u00a0Also\u00a0that gimmick “spread OLine” CIN used was so annoying.<\/p>\n
