{"id":32916,"date":"2016-07-19T17:55:18","date_gmt":"2016-07-19T21:55:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=32916"},"modified":"2016-07-28T19:22:44","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T23:22:44","slug":"report-new-york-jets-fitzpatrick-puts-house-up-for-rent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2016\/07\/19\/report-new-york-jets-fitzpatrick-puts-house-up-for-rent\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Fitzpatrick House up for Rent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Glenn Naughton<\/p>\n<p>With training camp just around the corner and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets still embroiled in a lengthy contract dispute, Daryl Slater of NJ.com is reporting that the quarterback&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nj.com\/jets\/index.ssf\/2016\/07\/ryan_fitzpatricks_house_is_for_rent_as_jets_stando.html#incart_2box_sports\"><strong>home is now up for rent<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This could be interpreted one of two ways.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fitzpatrick isn&#8217;t optimistic that a deal will be struck and is preparing to move on, or:<\/li>\n<li>Fitzpatrick knows that a large pay-day \u00a0with some stability is just around the corner and he&#8217;s looking to upgrade his sizable family to a bigger place than what they settled for when he showed up last season with a much smaller contract.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Players are scheduled to report on July 27th and the team recently freed up cap room by coming to terms with defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson, a move that <a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2016\/07\/16\/mos-deal-set-to-help-fit-fitz\/\"><strong>could have set the wheels in motion<\/strong><\/a> to getting a deal done with Fitzpatrick before camp kicks off on the 28th.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Glenn Naughton With training camp just around the corner and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets still embroiled in a lengthy contract dispute, Daryl Slater of NJ.com is reporting that the quarterback&#8217;s home is now up for rent.
