Sunday\u2019s win marks the third consecutive game and sixth contest of the season that the team has held its opponent under 75 yards rushing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Red Zone Defense:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Jets improved their league-leading red zone defense, holding TEN without a score on their lone trip inside the 20 yard line on their final possession of the game. This season, the Jets have allowed touchdowns on only 33.3% of opposing drives in the red zone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WR<strong> Brandon Marshall <\/strong>recorded his 11<sup>th<\/sup> touchdown reception after he took a pass from QB <strong>Ryan Fitzpatrick <\/strong>and scampered 69 yards to give the Jets a 27-0. The 69-yard reception was the third longest of his career and longest since his 75-yarder with DEN at WAS (11\/15\/09). With his 125 receiving yards, <strong>Marshall<\/strong> moved into 7<sup>th<\/sup> all-time in team history for receiving yards in a single season with 1,186. It\u2019s also the third consecutive game he\u2019s finished with at least 125 receiving yards and eighth 100-yard game of the season, a new single-season career high surpassing his previous career best of seven established in 2012 with CHI.<\/p>\n<p>WR <strong>Eric Decker <\/strong>scored on a 16-yard pass from <strong>Fitzpatrick <\/strong>in the first quarter of the game, giving the Jets a 7-0 lead over TEN to culminate a 14-play, 80-yard opening drive. With his touchdown reception, he moved into a tie for third all-time in touchdown receptions over the first two seasons as a Jet (14), surpassing Keyshawn Johnson\u2019s 13 from 1996-1997.<\/p>\n<p>With their touchdowns in today\u2019s game, <strong>Decker <\/strong>and <strong>Marshall<\/strong> become the first duo in Jets history to each amass nine touchdown receptions in a single season. Their 20 touchdowns combined ties them for first all-time amongst receiving duos with Art Powell\/Don Maynard (1960) and Wesley Walker\/Al Toon (1986).<\/p>\n<p>After combining for 15 receptions for 199 yards receiving, <strong>Marshall <\/strong>and <strong>Decker<\/strong> moved into seventh place among Jets receiving pairs with 2,062 yards this season, while their 155 combined receptions rank fifth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Muhammad Wilkerson:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DE <strong>Muhammad Wilkerson<\/strong> registered three sacks to increase his season total to a career-high 12. The first two sacks both occurred in the first half. His second sack established a career high, surpassing his previous best of 10.5 in 2013. His third established a single-game high, bettering his previous mark of two achieved four times, most recently vs. BUF (11\/12\/15). His 12 sacks also are the most in a season by Jets player since DL Shaun Ellis produced 12 in 2003.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Fitzpatrick:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>QB<strong> Ryan Fitzpatrick <\/strong>racked up three touchdown passes, all in the first half, to increase his season total to 25. His first of the game was a 16-yard strike to <strong>Decker<\/strong> that capped a 14-play, 80-yard drive. His second was a 16-yarder to RB <strong>Bilal Powell<\/strong> that gave the Jets a 13-0 lead in the second quarter. His third of the day occurred when WR<strong> Brandon Marshall <\/strong>took a short pass 69 yards down the sideline to improve the Jets advantage to 27-0. His 25 touchdown passes established a new career high, beating his previous mark of 24 achieved in 2011 and 2012. <strong>Fitzpatrick <\/strong>finished 21-of-36 passing for 263 yards and three touchdowns for a passer rating of 108.9. <strong>Fitzpatrick\u2019s<\/strong> 3,129 passing yards on the season represent his first season with 3,000+ since 2012 when he recorded 3,400 yards for BUF.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last three games, Fitzpatrick has completed 79-of-123 passes (64.2 percent) for 930 yards and nine touchdowns passes with no interceptions for a passer rating of 111.5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Ivory:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>RB <strong>Chris Ivory <\/strong>rushed for 101 yards on 22 attempts to improve his season total to a career high 914, surpassing his previous career high of 833 (2013). <strong>Ivory <\/strong>registered his third 100-yard rushing contest of the season, tying his career high (2013).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bilal Powell:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On third down, RB<strong> Bilal Powell <\/strong>caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to increase the Jets lead over TEN to 20-0. The touchdown reception was Powell\u2019s second in as many games. <strong>Powell <\/strong>finished with 46 yards on five receptions and added 36 yards rushing on three attempts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Demario Davis:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LB <strong>Demario Davis <\/strong>earned his second sack of the season, a 13-yarder on fourth down to bring TEN\u2019s drive to a halt late in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buster Skrine:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CB<strong> Buster Skrine <\/strong>intercepted his first pass as a Jet, picking off a Marcus Mariota screen attempt.
