Quarterback: B<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark Sanchez: 12\/24 172 yds 1 TD, 87.5
\nSanchez did a good job protecting the ball this week, and did what he needed to, to get this team down the field. He spread the ball around a lot better, and definitely began a solid relationship with Braylon Edwards.<\/p>\n

Running Back\/Full Back: B-<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thomas Jones: 13 rushes 42 yds 2TD
\nLeon Washington: 10 rushes 4 yards, 1 rec 13 yards
\nShonn Greene: 3 rushes 8 yards
\nThomas Jones vulture two touchdowns from good throws to Edwards, and had difficulty getting through the holes again. He must lead the league for tackles for a loss. Leon provided some excitement as well, and did a decent job out of the backfield.<\/p>\n

Wide Receiver\/Tight End: B+<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dustin Keller: 0 rec 0 yards
\nDavid Clowney: 4 rec 72 yards
\nBraylon Edwards: 5 rec 64 yards 1 TD<\/p>\n

Braylon Edwards could have bought himself some fans with his play on Monday Night. Sanchez was looking for him and he continued to throw him the ball. The injury to Cotchery allowed for Clowney to step up and actually contribute in the game today. I was shocked, but I figure when Cotchery comes back he will go back to his normal disappearing act.<\/p>\n

Offensive Line: D <\/strong><\/p>\n

Although they only allowed one sack against, they are nowhere near as dominant as they were last year. At this point it is safe to say they are an average line at best. They do not open up the running lanes for our guys, and are serviceable at best in pass protection.<\/p>\n

Defensive Line: D<\/strong>
\nJenkins had a decent game, but this group as a whole got pushed around by the Dolphins offensive line. They got little had only 4 tackles for a loss in the game, and allowed for gaping holes from the wildcat. Also for another week, a QB goes without a sack. I know that Henne wasn\u2019t back there the entire time, but he still wasn\u2019t pressured<\/p>\n

Linebackers: F<\/strong>
\nCalvin Pace looked \u201cVernon Gholston\u201d like at best, and made no impact on the game. He missed a few tackles and didn\u2019t impact the pass rush. Bart Scott had his worst game as a Jet as well. On Fasano\u2019s touchdown he lost his man and allowed for an easy touchdown. He also did not do a good job flowing to the ball, getting taken out multiple times at the point of attack, and whiffing on Ronnie Brown on the game winning touchdown.<\/p>\n

Secondary: B-<\/strong>
\nRhodes had his best game of the year, and actually got involved in tackling people near the line of scrimmage instead of 10 yards down the field. Revis looked great, except for that one little play where he made Ted Ginn look like an NFL receiver on his touchdown. Leonhard once again had a quiet game.<\/p>\n

Special Teams: A+<\/strong>
\nThis group did everything they could to give their team a chance to win. Whether Weatherford\u2019s fake punt run was intentional or not, he did a great job faking out the defender and getting the first down. Feely continued his stellar kicking both on kickoffs and on field goals. Leonhard did well getting some yards in the punt return game. The new blocking scheme seems to have affected Leon\u2019s big play ability on kickoffs.<\/p>\n

Coaching: C<\/strong>
\nDidn\u2019t do a bad job on the offensive side of the ball. I know we had some typical Schotty football, but he spread the field and the ball to multiple players. Good choice going for the 2 fake punts.
\nThe biggest problem was the inability to prepare for and adjust to the wildcat. You knew it was coming, and we failed to address it. That is the failure of this staff.<\/p>\n
