With the win the Jets improve to 4 and 1 and they head up to Foxboro next week to take on the Patriots. Here are some post game notes and quotes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Offensive Line:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the fourth time in five games, the Jets did not allow a sack. The offensive line helped contribute to a season high 224 yards on the ground, paving the way for RB <strong>Chris Ivory<\/strong> to post consecutive 100-yard rushing games for the first time in his career. The offensive line also helped block for QB <strong>Ryan Fitzpatrick<\/strong> who recorded his first rushing touchdown as a Jet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Tale of Two Halves:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first half and second half differentials for almost every category improved two-fold for the Jets against WAS. The Jets did not register any takeaways in the first half, but then posted two in the second half. The running game improved almost double, with 84 rushing yards in the first half and 140 in the second half. This season, the Jets have outscored opponents 68-21 in the second half, including 34-0 in the third quarter. The team opened the second half with four straight scoring drives. The Jets +9.8 point differential in the second half is the best in the league. Decker has received a touchdown in every game he has been active in for the 2015 season. Following his-74 yard touchdown catch in the last game of the 2014 season at MIA, Decker has recorded touchdown passes in five consecutive games. He finished with four receptions for 59 yards and one touchdown, with a long of 35 yards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Fitzpatrick:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>QB <strong>Ryan Fitzpatrick <\/strong>recorded an 18-yard scramble for a touchdown, registering his longest rushing touchdown since he rushed 31 yards for a touchdown in BUF vs. MIA (11\/29\/09). Fitzpatrick\u2019s touchdown run was the longest by a Jets quarterback since Richard Todd\u2019s 30 yard run vs. NO in 1980. This rushing touchdown is his first rushing touchdown since HST at JAX (12\/07\/14). Fitzpatrick finished 19-of-26 for 253 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, posting his first 100+ passer rating as a Jet with 113.1. In the second half, he was 9-for-12 for 117 yards and two touchdown with no interceptions for a passer rating of 144.8. Fitzpatrick recorded four rushing attempts for 31 yards and one touchdown, including three carries for 16 yards and touchdown in the second half.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus Gilchrist:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>S<strong> Marcus Gilchrist<\/strong> recorded his second interception of the 2015 season off of a QB <strong>Kirk Cousins<\/strong> pass intended for WR <strong>Jamison Crowder<\/strong>. This interception ties his single-season best of two interceptions which he accomplished twice in San Diego, once in 2011 and once in 2013. Gilchrist finished the game with three tackles, one interception and two passes defensed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Ivory:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>RB <strong>Chris Ivory <\/strong>posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances for the first time of his career and established a career high with 196 yards from scrimmage. His previous career high was 175 (NO vs. TB, 10\/17\/10). He followed up his career best rushing yard performance (166-yards) at MIA, with 20 rushing attempts for 146 yards and one touchdown today. Ivory was two yards shy of setting a new career high in receiving yards with three receptions for 50 yards. He set a new career best for longest reception with 24, besting his performance against CHI in 2014 when he received a 23 yard pass.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brandon Marshall:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With seven\u00a0 receptions for 111 yards, WR <strong>Brandon Marshall <\/strong>joins Don Maynard (1968) and George Sauer (1966) as the only Jets players with four consecutive 100-yard receiving games. This 100+ receiving yard performance is the 37<sup>th<\/sup> of his career. Marshall converted a 35 yard pass from QB <strong>Ryan Fitzpatrick<\/strong> into a score. Marshall has scored in four out of five games as a Jet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darrelle Revis:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CB <strong>Darrelle Revis <\/strong>recorded his third interception of the season off of a QB <strong>Kirk Cousins<\/strong> pass intended for WR <strong>Ryan Grant<\/strong>, matching his most interceptions since 2011 when he posted four on the season. This interception marked his sixth takeaway for the season and his most takeaways since 2008 when he registered seven, five interceptions and two fumble recoveries. His six takeaways lead the league.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sheldon Richardson:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In his 2015 Jets debut, DE <strong>Sheldon Richardson <\/strong>posted three tackles and shared a sack with fellow <strong>DE Muhammad Wilkerson<\/strong> for a 2.5 yard loss.<\/p>\n<p>Todd Bowles continues he level-headed approach as he leads this team. He was asked if the Jets are a decent team. His response&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I think we\u2019re getting better. We have a chance to be a decent team. We\u2019ll enjoy today and correct the mistakes tomorrow morning.
