The United Way of NYC works to improve communities and keeps high school kids on track and focused so they can continue to receive a college education. Every year, the New York Jets and Giants come together to recognize\u00a0those that dedicated their time to the community. This year\u00a0Prince Amukamara, cornerback, New York Giants and Quinton Coples, linebacker, New York Jets were honored as Hometown Heroes for their community support.<\/p>\n<p>Players from both teams also walked the red carpet including Eric Decker,\u00a0Leger Douzable,\u00a0Tommy Bohanon,\u00a0Demario Davis, and\u00a0Jaiquawn Jarrett from the Jets; and\u00a0Head Coach Tom Coughlin,\u00a0Rashad Jennings,\u00a0Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and\u00a0Victor Cruz from the New York Giants. \u00a0Some veteran notables in attendance were Joe Namath, Wesley Walker, Emerson Boozer,\u00a0Chad Cascadden, and\u00a0Bobby Jackson.
