\nI try not to wear a glove. If it’s real cold I’ll wear one and start with the fingers cut off, but if it goes to the point to where it necessitates me, wearing a full glove, then that’s what I’ll do.<\/p>\n

On added pressure because the Saints are in the same situation of trying to get the third win?<\/strong>
\nI don’t know if anybody really has looked at this as one of these games where you say that group over there is going to win. I think we all realize that we have our own problems. I don’t think we feel like we can just show up and win against anybody and win a game whether they are 2-8 like us or 0-10. I think the mindset here is to have a chance; we have to play well regardless of who we?re playing.<\/p>\n

On the difference of being 3-8 or 2-9? <\/strong>
\nNot much (difference) to be honest. They both sound bad but given our situation right now; it changes everything for at least a week to go out and win a game. Monday’s aren’t too bad and Tuesday’s not so bad. You come to work Wednesday and you learn about the plan for attacking the next team in a better frame of mind. You’re a little more upbeat and there’s a little more of a positive energy.<\/p>\n

On feeling anxious to get a win?<\/strong>
\nCertainly, I’d like to win again. I think it would help us out as we go forward. I don’t know there’s any sort of anxiety, but it’s kind of natural that everybody would rather win.<\/p>\n

On being on national TV? <\/strong>
\nTo me, national TV has never really meant a lot. Once the ball is kicked off, a game is a game. If it’s broadcast regionally or it’s the only game in town, it’s still a game. I do think that if both teams were 8-2, there’d be a few more (media) in the locker room today and all week. Clearly there’s not the buzz with this match-up that you would’ve had from both sides.<\/p>\n

On his post-football plans?<\/strong>
\nI have some things that I’m interested in but what I’m going to do after this year, I don?t know yet. I own a marketing company that I might get involved in, but I’m not sure yet. I could get involved in some other things, maybe in some areas in sports with small kids; maybe help them reach the next level whatever that is, the college level or pro level. Other things I have my eye on for later on, but I can’t really spend too much time right now with it because of the time this takes, the commitment this takes.<\/p>\n

On if he could play Sunday?<\/strong>
\nIf I was asked to play, I could play.<\/p>\n

On if he’s played injured before?<\/strong>
\nSure. All these guys in here have done it. I’ve done it a few times and if I had to do it again, I would.<\/p>\n

On this being the first time he’s listed as the third QB? <\/strong>
\nI don’t think so, but I can’t say for sure.<\/p>\n

On if it’s strange being the third QB?<\/strong>
\nGiven the circumstances, not really. The whole season has been a little bazaar. With the Achilles (tendon) and the ankle now, it’s just one of those things you know. Hopefully we won’t have to find out if I can do it or not. Hopefully Brooks will have a strong game, we’ll win the game and everybody will be happy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
