In somewhat of a surprise move, the Jets today announced the return of a familiar face along the defensive line in bringing back Leger Douzable<\/a> who has spent each of\u00a0the last two seasons with gang green.<\/p>\n Douzable has been an effective back up since joining the Jets but the additions of\u00a0Stephen Bowen<\/a> and Kevin Vickerson<\/a> left many with the impression he would not be returning in 2015 after registering 45 tackles and 4 sacks in his\u00a0two seasons\u00a0with the Jets.<\/p>\n General manager Mike Maccagnan has clearly made depth a priority this offseason as he continues to add veterans to a team that has been lacking depth in recent years.<\/p>\n Douzable, Bowen and Vickerson are just a few examples along with yesterdays addition of linebacker Erin Henderson<\/a> whose signing was preceded by inking former Packers linebacker Jamari Lattimore<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Glenn Naughton In somewhat of a surprise move, the Jets today announced the return of a familiar face along the defensive line in bringing back Leger Douzable who has spent each of\u00a0the last two seasons with gang green.
