{"id":27324,"date":"2014-12-17T18:38:23","date_gmt":"2014-12-17T22:38:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=27324"},"modified":"2022-04-01T03:16:11","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T07:16:11","slug":"start-em-or-sit-em-fantasy-football-finals-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2014\/12\/17\/start-em-or-sit-em-fantasy-football-finals-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"Start &#8216;Em or Sit &#8216;Em Fantasy Football Finals Edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I assume that most of you reading will be starting the guys who got you into the finals but I will try and call out some guys who are not definite starts this week.\u00a0 We had a good week in the Start \u2018Em going 10-5 and pretty good in Sit \u2018Em going 13-5.\u00a0 Please feel free to direct any questions to me either below or on <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/dvond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0Let\u2019s get to this week\u2019s list.<\/p>\n<h2>Start \u2018Em<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ben Roethlisberger<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 Last week he had a ton of yards but no td\u2019s. That changes against an over rated Chiefs defense.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alex Smith<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 He does not throw the ball deeper than 20 yards, nor does he throw Td\u2019s to his Wr\u2019s but he has been a top 10 QB the past 5 week and the Steelers are bottom 5 in that span against Qb\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eli Manning<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 He has been quietly playing better and the Rams pass defense still is bottom 5 in comp% against. This should bode well for the Giants passing game this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tre Mason<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 I think this is the week be comes back strong mostly due to the Giants defense.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jonathon Stewart<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 This is another match up play since the Browns round defense has been bottom 5.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matt Asiata<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 Every fantasy expert kills his lack of talent but he is getting 20 plus touches and Dolphins run defense is another that gets worse by the week.\u00a0 Perfect flex play this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brandon LaFell<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 he continues to produce every week and the Jets are bottom 5 defending Wr\u2019s in fantasy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DeSean Jackson<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 He was great in last game against the Eagles and is now healthy,\u00a0 plus the Eagles Cb\u2019s are having major issues.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marques Colston<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 Ever since Cooks got hurt he has been a double digit PPR scorer every week plus with Atlanta makes him a WR3 this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travis Kelce<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 Another breakout game last week and a great matchup versus the Steelers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coby Fleener<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 The Cowboys are one of worst teams defending tight end and I think this week is his turn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bench \u2018Em<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Russell Wilson<\/strong>&#8211; Another tough defense for him which would make me stay away.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tony Romo<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 He had a great day last week but with the Colts having a bad run defense, I see them pounding the ball.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jay Cutler<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 There is no way you can start him at this point of the season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Philip Rivers<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 He has had more than 1 TD in 1 game of last 6, and the 49ers defense is still playing well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lamar Miller<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 He continues to basically get taken out of the plan in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> half of all game with usually 5 or less touches, why?\u00a0 I do not know but this is not a time to gamble.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fred Jackson<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 The Raiders defense has been much better especially at home,\u00a0 he is td dependent this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Latavius Murray<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 This is not about talent but last week his usage sucked so I do not trust the coaching.
