{"id":26556,"date":"2014-09-29T14:53:56","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T18:53:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=26556"},"modified":"2022-04-01T03:30:08","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T07:30:08","slug":"jets-release-jalen-saunders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2014\/09\/29\/jets-release-jalen-saunders\/","title":{"rendered":"Jets Release Jalen Saunders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seth Walder\u00a0of the New York Daily News is reporting that the Jets have parted ways with Jalen\u00a0Saunders after only four weeks in to his rookie season.\u00a0 Saunders was inactive for yesterdays game against the Lions after muffing\u00a0a punt against the Packers two weeks ago.\u00a0 While Saunders could always come back to the Jets&#8217; practice squad, this is a huge black eye for John Idzik&#8217;s draft class.\u00a0 The selection of the diminutive 5&#8242; 9&#8221; WR from Oklahoma had Jets fans scratching their heads from day one. \u00a0His release will only add fuel to the fire in regards to this past season&#8217;s draft.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets signed veteran WR TJ Graham to replace Saunders.\u00a0 Graham was let go by the Titans after playing 2012-2013 with the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Wow.
