{"id":26295,"date":"2014-09-09T12:58:26","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T16:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=26295"},"modified":"2022-04-01T03:34:26","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T07:34:26","slug":"fantasy-football-free-agent-week-2-frenzy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2014\/09\/09\/fantasy-football-free-agent-week-2-frenzy\/","title":{"rendered":"Fantasy Football Free Agent Week 2 Frenzy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"paragraph0\" class=\"pgh-paragraph has-dropcap\">Welcome everyone to the 1st 2014 edition of free agent frenzy, as usually we have some huge week 1 performers out there but have to be careful and not panic and drop a highly drafted player after 1 bad week for these possible pumpkins. \u00a0I preach patience as fantasy season&#8217;s are not won or lost in the 1st week. \u00a0That said let&#8217;s get to my top pickups that are available in most leagues.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Josh Gordon<\/strong> &#8211; If he is out there, drop your lowest drafted guy and roll the dice, its looking more and more he will be reinstated and could change your fantasy season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Terrance West<\/strong>&#8211; Ben Tate has already come up lame and there is no word on how long he will be out, \u00a0looked great with 100 yards last week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Justin Forsett<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He has never shown the ability to be a RB1 but the Ravens are rolling with him against a very shaky Steelers run defense and Pierce continues to struggle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marcus Wheaton<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0The Steelers continue to air it out and he looks ready to explode as the 3rd passing option.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bobby Rainey<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He had some nice games last year and with the Martin\u00a0ineffectiveness\u00a0and injury this may be the time to scoop him up.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dwayne Allen<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He got 5 targets but looks healthy and ahead of Fleener, a back end TE1.]<\/li>\n<li><strong>Steve Smith<\/strong> &#8211; He received 15 targets but was not doing much with them before the long bomb, \u00a0I would expect last weeks game to be his best.<\/li>\n<li>A<strong>llen Hurns<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0This UDFA rookie broke out but I would not expect much more the rest of the season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marquis Lee<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He did not get the highlights but got a ton of targets and I see him as the WR1 for the Jaguars.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Larry Donnell<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He got 6 targets from Eli and seemed to be the only receiver that he was comfortable with and gets the Arizona defense who are\u00a0historically\u00a0awful versus tight ends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chris Ivory<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He had less touches than Johnson but broke a long run which\u00a0cannot\u00a0be expected every week. \u00a0A bey week filler\/flex at best.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jake Locker<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He was playing well before injury last year and this week gets the awful Cowboys, should be a top 10 QB this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Malcolm Floyd<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0There were\u00a0great\u00a0reports from camp on him and he came through last night with 6 targets and a TD, not a bad flier for your bench.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brian Quick<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0He had 9 catches and looked like a beast but with the\u00a0uncertainty\u00a0at QB for the Rams there is just no way to think about\u00a0starting\u00a0anyone but Stacy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bennie\u00a0Cunningham<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;
