The Jets made yet another move after cutting down the roster to 53 men. \u00a0This time Ellis Lankster was released and A.J. Why was Ellis Lankster cut? \u00a0Here are a few reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rex Ryan must feel pretty comfortable with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2014\/08\/25\/saalim-hakim-profile\/\">Saalim Hakim&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> ability on special teams.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #363636;\">Cornerback\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2014\/08\/31\/jets-claim-cb-leon-mcfadden\/\">Leon McFadden<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was signed after being released by the Cleveland Browns.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Another cornerback, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2014\/09\/01\/ny-jets-make-several-roster-moves-add-a-cb-wr\/\">Phillip Adams<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0was just picked up after being cut by the Seattle Seahawks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Jets face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday and rookie Derek Carr will start at QB for the Raiders. The Jets secondary will be tested all season long.
