There were some encouraging signs for Jeremy Kerley this week. \u00a0He was able to practice but he did wear the red no contact jersey. \u00a0It sounds as if his return is close but Rex Ryan did indicate that he was doubtful on Sunday against the Ravens. \u00a0Rex didn’t rule out Kerley (or Garrett Mcintyre) but it doesn’t look likely that either will play.<\/p>\n

Rex on Kerley’s injury:<\/p>\n

It was ugly, there\u2019s no question. I don\u2019t know how else to describe it, but like a horrific looking injury. There haven\u2019t been a whole lot of receivers that have had this injury, like three in the last 10 years or something. It\u2019s kind of hard to say where he is, but the young man, to his credit, he wants to be out there in the worst way and obviously yesterday (he practiced). He\u2019s showing it during the week, he\u2019s practicing. But again, we\u2019ll see how it goes. He\u2019s already way further along than I think what people were assuming.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
