{"id":22166,"date":"2013-10-01T15:14:26","date_gmt":"2013-10-01T19:14:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=22166"},"modified":"2022-04-01T04:28:56","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T08:28:56","slug":"vlad-to-the-bench","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2013\/10\/01\/vlad-to-the-bench\/","title":{"rendered":"Vlad To The Bench"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the surprises from training camp was the play of offensive lineman Vladimir Ducasse.\u00a0 He was selected by the Jets in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL draft and he was very inconsistent in his first two seasons.\u00a0 He moved around from tackle to guard and struggled, especially with the mental aspects of the game.\u00a0 This training camp he was impressive though and won the starting left guard position.\u00a0 The Jets ended up releasing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2013\/08\/26\/jets-release-14-including-rb-mcknight-ol-peterman-in-advance-of-nfl-deadline\/\">Stephen Peterman<\/a> who was thought to be the leading candidate for that job.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets have been plagued by penalties so far this season, and one of the main culprits has been Ducasse.\u00a0 It looks like his time as a starter has come to an end.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I&#39;m told <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Jets?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Jets<\/a> are going to go with rookie OL Brian Winters over the inconsistent Vlad Ducasse.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Kimberley A.
