{"id":22049,"date":"2013-09-24T16:55:44","date_gmt":"2013-09-24T20:55:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=22049"},"modified":"2022-04-01T04:28:33","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T08:28:33","slug":"fantasy-football-hot-not-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2013\/09\/24\/fantasy-football-hot-not-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Fantasy Football: Hot  Not"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/fantasy-football.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-16334\" alt=\"fantasy-football\" src=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/fantasy-football.gif\" width=\"180\" height=\"81\" \/><\/a>Hello Fantasy Football Fans!<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the 3rd week of the waiver wire\/who is hot and who is not column of the year, I thank everyone for reading and hopefully this will assist your team on the way to the playoffs.\u00a0 We will not list anyone who was on the list last week but if Moreno, Royal, Clay, Snelling, Quizz Rodgers, are still out there please do yourself a favor and grab them.\u00a0 This is not a great week for a huge impact pickup more of bye week fill in\u2019s and a few speculative adds.<\/p>\n<p>Who is Hot;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Peyton Manning- This looks easier than Manning, there is no way you can bench any Broncos receiver at this point.<\/li>\n<li>Bronocos Receivers-\u00a0 Manning is being very nice and making sure everyone gets a piece of the pie.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/powell.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-16549\" alt=\"Bilal Powell\" src=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/powell-300x218.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/powell-300x218.jpg 300w, https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/powell-600x437.jpg 600w, https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/powell.jpg 608w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Bilal Powell \u2013 He now has the RB1 job to himself with the Chris Ivory injury.<\/li>\n<li>Joique Bel \u2013 Be you did not know he is 5<sup>th<\/sup> in PPR leagues at the RB position, even with Bush back he is a weekly flex play.<\/li>\n<li>Michael Vick \u2013 I get a question or 2 about him every week, start him until injury unless you have Manning,\u00a0 Brees or Rodgers.<\/li>\n<li>Giovanni Bernard \u2013 He is top 10 so far this year for RB\u2019s and his role will continue to grow.<\/li>\n<li>Fred Jackson \u2013 He is looking spry for a 32 year old and with the Spiller injury he has at least a job share for the time being.<\/li>\n<li>DeAngelo Williams \u2013 I bet no one thought he would be 3<sup>rd<\/sup> in rushing yards after 3 weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Antonio Brown \u2013 It pays to complain, we saw it with Wallace last week and now with Brown.<\/li>\n<li>Anyone playing the Eagles, Resdskins and Rams \u2013 If you have a guy playing any of these team they are a must start.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Who is not;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>David Wilson-\u00a0 He got a few carries but the coach still has no confidence in him<\/li>\n<li>Steven Jackson \u2013 He is now out until week 7<\/li>\n<li>Danny Amendola \u2013 They are saying he can play with the torn abductor but too big of a roll of the dice for me in any week.<\/li>\n<li>C.J. Spiller \u2013 Even when healthy he is in a job share, if you drafted him you are stuck but not a good situation.<\/li>\n<li>Trent Richardson \u2013 He got traded to a better team but has a worse OL and could be in a 60\/40 job share with Bradshaw.<\/li>\n<li>Tom Brady \u2013 There are at least 12-14 better Qb\u2019s to now start on a weekly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Steven Ridley \u2013 He is getting buried deeper and deeper.<\/li>\n<li>Ryan Mathews \u2013 He is the king of the 15 carries a game between the 20\u2019s, they used Ronnie Brown as a goal line back last week.<\/li>\n<li>Andre Johnson \u2013 Another game another injury.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Average Size Leagues Waiver Wire pickups<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bilal Powell &#8211;\u00a0 He looked solid last week and will continue to get the carries.<\/li>\n<li>Branden Boldin \u2013 He is now in a full job share with Ridley and the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> down back.<\/li>\n<li>Pierre Thomas \u2013 Ingram is now out but he is stil at best a flex play.<\/li>\n<li>Isiah Pead \u2013 He still looks lost running the ball but with Daryl Richardson having foot issues, he could be a bye week fill in if you are desperate.<\/li>\n<li>Santonio Holmes \u2013 He is coming off what will be his best day but should put him reasonable stats the rest of the way when he is healthy.<\/li>\n<li>Ryan Broyles \u2013 He will now be the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> best WR on a passing team with Burleson out for awhile.<\/li>\n<li>Sidney Rice \u2013 Another guy who will not replicate last week\u2019s stats but if you are stuck for a bye they have some nice matchups coming up.<\/li>\n<li>Chiefs defense \u2013 We never list a defense here but they have been on fire and have a great schedule coming up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I get a lot of questions about buying low on Spiller, Wilson, Ridley CJ2K amongst others and my advice would be if you have bench room and have a winning record go for it but if you are -0-3 or 1-2, you need wins and very tough to take a chance on a guy who may never turn it around.<\/p>\n<p>Send me any questions or lineup decisions on Twitter \u2013<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/dvond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dvond<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Good Luck this week!<\/p>\n<p>Fantasy Mike<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Fantasy Football Fans!
