Eric Mangini’s hatred for Bill Belichick seems to be endless.\u00a0 After earlier victories by the Patriots and Ravens, the Jets were eliminated from playoff contention.\u00a0 With a win over the Miami Dolphins, the Jets would have been responsible for sending the New England Patriots to the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Mr. Mangini will have none of that.\u00a0 So he rallied the troops before the half and let them know it was in the best interest of the franchise for them to lose this game.\u00a0 It wasn’t easy, but the Jets managed to do it led by Brett Favre’s 3 interceptions (one was returned for a touchdown before the half).<\/p>\n
You don’t believe me?\u00a0 How else can you explain Chad Pennington winning a big December game at the Meadowlands?\u00a0 Give it some time and my explanation will make perfect sense.\u00a0 The Jets faced a lose – lose proposition and they made the best of it by screwing over Bill Belichick.<\/p>\n
