The Jets had two weeks to prepare for the winless Bengals and they did not disappoint.\u00a0 The Bengals fell to 0 and 6 after losing to the Jets by a score of 26 to 14.\u00a0 The Jets looked at times like a team coming off a bye week.\u00a0 The rust did not hold them back much as the Carson Palmer-less Bengals continue to struggle this season.\u00a0 The end result is what they are graded on and with this win, the Jets improved their record to 3 and 2.<\/p>\n
The story for the Jets continues to be the new and improved run defense.\u00a0 They allowed 43 yards on 21 attempts and they controlled the line of scrimmage all day long.\u00a0 Ryan Fitzpatrick who filled in at QB had a rough outing and was held to 152 yards passing.\u00a0 The sack assault continued for the Jets as they added another five sacks today.<\/p>\n
Thomas Jones led the offense with 65 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.\u00a0 Jones found the end zone often today which he was unable to do last year.\u00a0 Brett Favre made some costly mistakes (2 interceptions and a fumble that was returned for a touchdown) but continues to move this offense and they seem to be more in synch each week.<\/p>\n
The Jets have the Oakland Raiders and K.C.
