Laveranues Coles (3), Jerricho Cotchery (2) and Dustin Keller (1) were the recipients.\u00a0 Favre had never thrown for six TDs in one game and tied a Jets record (Joe Namath).<\/p>\n<p>The Jets defense was effective in terms of stopping the run and sacking the quarterback.\u00a0\u00a0 The held the Cardinals to 42 yards rushing and a 2.8 yard per carry average.\u00a0 They sacked Kurt Warner 5 times and forced 4 Warner fumbles (5 in total).<\/p>\n<p>The defense continues to leave a lot to be desired in pass coverage.\u00a0 Darrelle Revis jumped an early Warner pass and took his interception the distance for a touchdown.\u00a0 Overall though, the Jets coverage is a problem.\u00a0 After jumping out to a big lead, they allowed the Cardinals to make it interesting.<\/p>\n<p>As the Jets head into the bye week with a record of 2 and 2, they have an opportunity to fix what isn&#8217;t working (pass defense) and get healthy (Favre&#8217;s ankle, David Clowney, Justin Miller and Mike Nugent are all nursing injuries).<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned for the JetNation.com Report Card.\u00a0 Get the latest Jets news in our <a href=\"http:\/\/jetnation.com\/forums\">forums.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Jets wore their throw back NY Titan uniforms today.\u00a0 More importantly they put on a show with the passing game and beat the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 56 &#8211; 35.\u00a0 Brett Favre threw six touchdown passes.
