Brett Favre played the first half.\u00a0 The Jets didn’t score but Brett was 9 of 12 passing and was only sacked once.\u00a0 He had a long touchdown overturned when Bubba Franks was called for illegal motion.\u00a0 Jerricho Cotchery caught the ball in stride for a 49 yard almost touchdown.\u00a0 Favre also had a 28 yard pass to Brad Smith called back because of an illegal shift penalty.<\/p>\n
The Jets defense had 8 sacks on the day.\u00a0 They shut the Giants out in the first half and Calvin Pace showed fans why he received a big contract this off-season (2 sacks).\u00a0 The biggest concerns for the Jets are the running game and offensive penalties.\u00a0 They had not much running room and too many motion\\false start penalties.\u00a0 Back to the positive aspects, the highlights included:<\/p>\n
