{"id":14627,"date":"2012-08-27T15:05:29","date_gmt":"2012-08-27T19:05:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jetnation.com\/?p=14627"},"modified":"2022-04-01T02:42:39","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T06:42:39","slug":"jets-reduce-roster-to-74-players","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2012\/08\/27\/jets-reduce-roster-to-74-players\/","title":{"rendered":"Jets Reduce Roster To 74 Players"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New York Jets have announced that their roster now stands at 74 players.\u00a0 They had to be at 75 players before 4pm today.\u00a0 The next roster cut down date is on Friday, August 31<sup>st<\/sup> by 9pm (EST).\u00a0 The roster must be set to 53 players by that time.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest name on this list is <a href=\"https:\/\/miletestsite.com\/jets\/2012\/08\/27\/josh-baker-done-for-the-season-with-knee-injury\/\">Josh Baker<\/a> who was being counted on as the 3rd TE and backup FB.\u00a0 That will change the roster dynamic a bit as the Jets will need to fill that TE spot.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The New York Jets reduced their roster to 74 players today.
